Warehouse/Backup Driver

About the Role

Bay Building Supplies Inc. in Waukesha is seeking a Warehouse Associate/Backup CDL Driver to handle warehouse tasks and deliver insulation products to job sites, ensuring timely and professional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Drive to deliver materials and load/unload within a scheduled route.
• Stage products onto the truck for delivery.
• Maintain the truck and perform daily pre/post-trip inspections.
• Report mechanical or maintenance issues to the Warehouse Manager.
• Process paperwork (tickets, bills of lading, customer receipts, COD handling).
• Communicate customer service issues to the Warehouse Manager.
• Work in warehouse positions as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of verifiable straight truck driving experience in the last 5 years.
• Valid driver’s license and compliance with DOT regulations.
• Ability to pass a Driver Background Check.
• Must obtain and maintain a DOT medical card.
• Forklift experience required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Driving Duties

Employees in driving roles must maintain a valid license and an acceptable driving record per insurance requirements as a condition of continued employment.
