Warehouse Attendant - Warehouse

Responsibilities

• Aids in the daily operation of warehouse activities.
• Maintains an upbeat, positive attitude, friendly and helpful demeanor, positive energy and enthusiasm from one interaction to the next.
• Ensures accuracy in data entry in the Inventory/Purchasing system.
• Performs cycle counts in different stock locations daily.
• Ensures requisitions are filled in a timely and accurate manner.
• Checks and signs inventory requisitions for accuracy before goods are delivered.
• Operates and maintains consistent mail delivery, organization and tidiness of the warehouse.
• Ensures safety and cleanliness of all warehouse areas as per internal and Health Department standards.
• Inspects the warehouse daily to ensure cleaning roster duties are carried out.
• Acts as a role model to other employees and encourages others to do the same.
• Operates and maintains consistent mail delivery, organization and tidiness of the warehouse.
• Completes Invoice Adjustment forms to ensure credits are taken.
• Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
• Pushes and pulls heavy materials weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Moves throughout the casino to deliver items.
• Reaches below and above shoulders while performing receiving duties.
• Lifts up to and carries up to 50 pounds.
• Operates and maintains powered industrial equipment (forklift, pallet jack).
• Checks equipment maintenance logs and ensures roster duties/forklift checklists are being performed.
• Processes paperwork in accordance with Policy.
• Delivers items which ship directly to departments.
• Operates computer as needed.

Qualifications

• At least one (1) year experience in a warehouse position preferred.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
