WAREHOUSE

About the role

The Bronx Zoo and New York Aquarium are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our seasonal teams as Food Commissary Drivers, Food Commissary Supervisors, Warehouse Drivers, and Warehouse Driver/Clerks.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift or other equipment to move goods within the facility.
• Load and unload trucks and carts, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Sort and store food items in designated areas.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and commissary.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience with forklift operation is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
