Position Overview
Precision Garage Door Service is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and motivated individual to join our team as a Warehouse Associate / Installer Apprentice. This role combines warehouse operations and field installation work, offering consistent hours, hands-on experience, and additional earning potential.
Responsibilities
Manage daily warehouse operations and maintain organization
Receive, organize, and track incoming inventory and materials
Stock installer trucks with parts, tools, and job materials each morning
Maintain accurate inventory counts and report shortages
Keep warehouse clean, safe, and operational at all times
Assist with loading and unloading products and deliveries
Support technicians and installers with job preparation
Ensure materials and equipment are ready for daily operations
Help maintain company standards for efficiency and safety
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable working in a physical, hands-on environment
Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn installation skills
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Warehouse, construction, delivery, or garage door experience is a plus, but not required
Willing to train the right candidate with a positive attitude and motivation to grow
Must be willing to travel throughout the NJ area to support different locations and job sites as needed
Compensation
$19-$21 per hour
