About the role

A well-established distribution and manufacturing company is seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate to join their team.

Responsibilities

• safely operating a forklift to move, stack, stage, load, and unload materials
• receiving and organizing incoming materials
• replenishing warehouse inventory
• moving materials to staging areas
• loading trailers using route sheets and proper loading techniques
• operating stacking equipment
• using handheld scanners to track inventory
• pulling and preparing customer orders
• packaging, labeling, and wrapping materials for shipment
• assisting with physical inventory
• maintaining a clean and organized work area
• following all safety and OSHA guidelines

Requirements

• Forklift certification/license
• Previous Warehouse Or Material Handling Experience
• Preferred: Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills
• Ability to operate a handheld scanner/computer
• Strong safety awareness
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• PREFERRED: Experience in distribution, manufacturing, lumber, building materials, or a similar warehouse environment
