About the role

Kirby Risk is seeking a full-time Warehouse Associate to join their Indianapolis team. The role involves supporting warehouse operations, ensuring materials are received, stored, picked, and delivered accurately and on time, and assisting with day-to-day warehouse activities.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming shipments.
• Verify quantities and inspect materials for damage or discrepancies.
• Accurately enter receiving information into the warehouse management system.
• Communicate shortages, overages, or damaged materials to management.
• Process returns and assist with freight claims as needed.
• Perform inventory counts and cycle counts according to company procedures.
• Pick, stage, and prepare materials for customer orders and branch transfers.
• Move materials to designated warehouse locations using established processes.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist with continuous improvement efforts that support operational efficiency.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical work throughout the day.
• Comfortable working at heights and climbing ladders up to 15 feet.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Full-time position (40+ hours per week).

Schedule

Monday–Friday schedule during standard business hours.

Pay

Salary commensurate with experience.
