Warehouse

Responsibilities

• Read and understand work instructions information (English Only)
• Effectively communicate with shop floor supervisor and production control manager
• Receive, unload, and place incoming inventory items appropriately
• Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate records
• Pick, pack, and ship orders accurately
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment (if certified)
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
• Absorb and implement suggestions from Shop Floor Supervisor for improving processes
• Assist with other tasks as needed

Qualifications and Skill Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for long periods
• Forklift certification is a plus
• Work with Shop Floor Supervisor for suggesting improvements
• Capable of lifting 40 pounds frequently
• Capable of working in a noisy environment
• Capable of working extra hours
• Highly desirable experience working for metal fabrication and/or machining companies in a low volume/high mix environment
