About the Role

This position involves operating warehouse material handling equipment and performing various warehouse tasks while maintaining productivity, safety, and sanitary standards.

  • Use of warehouse material handling equipment, which may include pacers, walkie-riders, high reach, pallet jacks, and order pickers.
  • Perform assigned functions by utilizing RF and scanning devices.
  • Maintain a sanitary work environment by utilizing clean-as-you-go techniques.
  • Operate equipment in a safe manner.
  • Follow established work procedures and work rules while maintaining productivity levels.
  • Perform picking tasks, which may include lifting up to 50 pounds, while maintaining the integrity of lots and product condition.
  • Perform put-away tasks while maintaining the integrity of lots and product condition.
  • Perform loading and unloading tasks while maintaining the integrity of lots and product condition.

Weekend B shift warehouse associate: Thursday–Sunday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Previous forklift and/or warehouse training is a plus.
  • Bend and lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Lift up to 70 lbs. with assistance on an occasional basis.
  • Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls.
  • Speak and hear for safety and productivity.
  • Use scanners, tablets, radio, phones, and other warehouse machinery.
  • Ability to lift overhead.
  • Ability to work overtime as an essential part of this position due to demand.
  • Drive a registered motor vehicle to satisfy daily requirements.
  • Have acceptable and/or correctable vision.
  • Work in an atmosphere ranging from +50 to -30 degrees F with a moderate noise level.
  • High level of personal interaction and communication with others.
  • Good arithmetic and reading skills.
  • Understand and follow verbal instruction, written instruction, and company policies.
  • A self-starter who can work independently and coordinate with others.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage stress and productivity guidelines.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Maintain a professional manner in appearance and communications.
  • Participate in staff and/or customer meetings if required.
  • Initiate action to prevent non-conformities relating to product, process, and quality systems.
  • Identify and record any issues relating to product, processes, and/or quality.
  • Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through appropriate channels.
  • Verify the implementation of solutions.
  • Follow posted security and safety procedures at all times.
  • Participate in Safety and Educational Training.
