Warehouse Associate Union - Night Shift (TX)

Pay

$21.95 per hour plus $0.75 shift differential.

Schedule

Sun‑Thu 6:00 pm – 3:00 am (or finished). Up to 4 hours/day overtime is mandatory. Full‑time position with possible shift work, weekdays, weekends, and some holidays. Hours may vary based on customer orders and business needs.

About the role

Responsible for receiving, stocking, preparation and shipping of merchandise to customers in local and outlying areas.

Responsibilities

• Accurately select/pick merchandise from assigned slot and confirm the correct quantity and unit of measure.
• Load merchandise into appropriate truck.
• Drop merchandise for “reserve” to “pick” slots.
• Prepare VIA merchandise for shipment on freight lines.
• Repack loose merchandise for shipping/delivery.
• Verify quality of product, packaging and adherence to vendor compliance policy.
• Accurately adhere to Warehouse Labor Standard, “Preferred Method Standard”.
• Identify and report slot and put‑away problems.
• Shrink wrap merchandise/pallets after picking as needed.
• Perform housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Operate forklift/pallet jack and cherry picker.
• Lift 40‑60 pounds repeatedly each shift.
• Bend, stoop, climb, stand and twist for extended periods of time.
• Successfully complete forklift training/certification requirements.
• Operate a Radio Frequency (RF) or Voice Pick device.

Work environment

The job is performed in a warehouse/operations environment, frequently exposed to fast‑moving material handling equipment or other mechanical equipment. It is a full‑time position with a varying schedule that may include days or nights, weekdays, weekends, and some holidays. No travel is required.
