About the role

Starting rate: $17.00–$19.68 per hour. Earn up to an additional $1.43/hour through monthly team bonus opportunities. Shift starts at 11:30 AM, Monday–Friday.

Begin as a Packager 1 with multiple advancement opportunities and pay increases along the following track:

• Packager 1
• Packager 2
• Picker 1
• Picker 2
• Loader 1
• Loader 2

Responsibilities

• Check available stock using the computer system
• Pull customer orders and process as required
• Prepare shipping documents
• Scan or input accurate information into the WCM computer system using scanners
• Assist with processing shipping labels and checking order accuracy
• Assist shipping/receiving in loading and unloading product from carrier trailers
• Operate material handling equipment
• Create reports and perform data entry of inventory transactions
• Coordinate with the shipping lead for exception processing, problem escalation, and resolution
• Demonstrate proper and safe operation of equipment
• Physically double-check orders to verify correct product
• Perform cycle counts of inventory
• Complete all training and training checklists
• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Understands measurements and measurement tools, including use of gages, tape measures, and micrometers
• Ability to use WCM information system as needed
• Accurate record keeping related to receiving/slotting
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Forklift operation experience
• Strong work habits and problem-solving skills
• Team player
• Legible handwriting and organizational ability
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling parts and maintaining records
• Ability to physically perform shipping and receiving processes
• Ability to move parts between work centers
• Operation of forklifts and other automated or manually operated equipment as necessary

Physical Requirements

Performs physical activities requiring considerable use of arms and legs and frequent movement of the whole body, such as:

• Climbing
• Lifting up to 50 pounds
• Balancing
• Handling materials
