Warehouse Associate / Shipping/Receiving Clerk

About the Role

Iron Mountain is seeking a hands-on Shipping/Receiving Clerk (Project Specialist) to join our Records Project team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in moving and protecting important historical government records. This position is a temporary assignment with the potential to transition into a regular role based on business need and performance.

Responsibilities

• Move and stage record boxes weighing up to 50 lbs, including working off elevated platforms up to 15 feet high.
• Put barcode and RFID labels on boxes in exact locations for electronic tracking.
• Arrange boxes on pallets in proper order, protect corners, and wrap tightly in plastic for safe shipping.
• Help check box numbers against pull lists to ensure accuracy before moving.
• Safely use material handling gear like hand trucks, wheeled carts, and pallet jacks.

Qualifications

• Experience in a physical role, preferably in warehouse, shipping/receiving, or material handling.
• Strong attention to detail for matching long numbers and letters on labels and lists.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs continuously throughout an 8-hour shift.
• Comfort working at heights using secure platforms or mobile lifts.
• US citizenship required due to federal security rules.
• Willingness to undergo fingerprinting and pass a federal background check.

Pay

Reasonably expected salary range: $43,900.00 - $54,900.00. Starting salary may vary based on factors like experience. Employees are entitled to higher rates where legal minimum wages exceed federal minimums.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm.
