Warehouse Associate (Shipping, 4PM Shift)

About the role
This position is responsible for demonstrating safety and operational expertise within a quality and productivity-driven environment. The Warehouse Associate will proficiently perform one or more distribution-related activities (e.g., order filling, shipping, receiving) on a regular basis and may be assigned across various functions as business needs require.
Responsibilities
- Perform one or more distribution-related functions such as checking, picking, packing, replenishment, bin/bulk order fill, bin/bulk stocking, shipping, receiving/returns, sorting, or loading (as applicable to the operation). Assignment to other functional tasks may occur daily or less frequently.
- Operate a pallet jack occasionally to move product.
- Contribute to a safe work environment through continuous focus on housekeeping and safety.
- Demonstrate commitment to the company’s core values.
- Interact with supervisors, leads, and work groups to exchange task-related information.
- Participate in group settings to implement and suggest continuous improvements to the distribution process.
- Work in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent education preferred.
- Basic ability to communicate verbally and in writing using the English language.
- Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication).
- Basic computer skills (accessing and navigating the internet; familiarity with keyboard functions; opening, closing, and saving documents).
- Ability to lift a minimum of 70 pounds regularly, up to 150 pounds infrequently.
- Ongoing ability to push, pull, grasp, and perform fine manipulation of equipment using hands.
- Ability to walk on uneven surfaces, though infrequently.
- Basic experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule is a plus (e.g., starting shifts early or staying until work is complete).
- Exhibited good job performance and behavior as measured by teamwork, attendance, quality, and productivity.
- One year of previous related experience preferred.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $19.50/hour to $20.50/hour, with adjustments made to comply with all state and local minimum wage laws.
