About the role
The Warehouse Associate, Senior plays a pivotal role in ensuring efficient operations within the warehouse, maintaining high standards of accuracy, and mentoring less experienced team members. This position requires a strong foundation in foundational skills such as math, reading, and writing, along with 2+ years of relevant work experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage the receipt, inspection, and processing of shipments to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Cook up order preparation and shipping with precision and timeliness.
- Handle advanced inventory management, resolving discrepancies and maintaining accurate records.
- Operate and oversee the safe use of warehouse equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Train team members on proper equipment use and safety procedures.
- Mentor and guide less experienced staff, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment following safety protocols.
- Work with supervisors and team members to improve workflows and productivity.
- Take initiative to solve operational challenges and adapt to changing priorities.
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical tasks, including standing, bending, and walking for extended periods.
- Support other warehouse functions as needed, including loading and unloading trucks.
Requirements
- No diploma required; Strong foundational skills in math, reading, and writing are essential.
- 2+ years of relevant work experience.
