Warehouse Associate/Relief Driver (CDL w/Hazmat)

About the role

We are hiring a Warehouse Associate/Relief Driver in Wichita, KS. The position offers a competitive salary of $30 per hour with potential quarterly bonuses. Hours are Monday - Friday, 7 am to 5 pm.

Responsibilities

• Loading and delivering gas cylinders and other products onto route trucks and at customer locations.
• Managing high-pressure, medical, and liquid cylinders, including preparing cryogenic vessels for filling.
• Operating a forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment.
• Maintaining inventory and inspecting stored materials.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and operating company-provided vehicles safely.
• Maintaining positive customer relationships and resolving service inquiries or complaints.
• Ensuring the warehouse is neat, clean, and orderly.

Requirements

• Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License.
• Valid Medical Examiner's Card.
• Hazmat & Airbrake Certifications.
• One (1) year of prior Class B professional driving experience within the last five (5) years, or two (2) at-fault accidents in the last three years, or a combination of one (1) conviction and one (1) at-fault accident in the last three years.
• At least 21 years old.
• Ability to read and comprehend material safety data sheets.
• Ability to lift 25 – 75 lbs., and occasionally lift 76 to greater than 125 pounds with the aid of material handling equipment.
• Able to drive hazardous cargo for up to 8 hours and bend frequently.
• Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines.
• Ability to obtain a forklift operator certification.
