About the role
Hubbard Supplyhouse is seeking an energetic, self-motivated Warehouse Associate (Receiving & Shipping) to join our family-like atmosphere. We are a plumbing and irrigation supply house specializing in kitchen, bath, appliances, and lighting, proudly serving local plumbers, builders, and homeowners. As a family-owned, Christian company, our mission is “Honoring God with a great team that builds customer partnerships by delivering on expectations.” This role plays a key role in supporting daily warehouse operations by handling both inbound and outbound product flow with accuracy and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Receiving (Inbound)
- Unload, inspect, and verify incoming shipments
- Receive, stage, and stock inventory in appropriate locations
- Identify and report damages, shortages, or discrepancies
- Maintain accurate inventory and product organization
- Shipping (Outbound)
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for delivery or customer pickup
- Load trucks safely and accurately based on order requirements
- Verify outgoing shipments against packing slips and sales orders
- Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and secure loading
- General Warehouse Support
- Use RF scanners and warehouse systems to track inventory and orders
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
- Assist in other warehouse functions as needed
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Customer Service & Team Collaboration
- Represent Hubbard Supplyhouse with a professional and positive attitude
- Work collaboratively with warehouse, delivery, and counter teams
- Support team goals and contribute to a “team-first” culture
- Communicate issues or delays clearly and promptly
Requirements
- Required:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a warehouse or physical labor role
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds
- Basic computer and scanning tool proficiency
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work at a consistent pace
- Preferred:
- Experience in plumbing, irrigation, or wholesale distribution environments
- Familiarity with shipping software or ERP systems
- Experience operating pallet jacks, forklifts, or other material-handling equipment
- Ability to multitask and adapt during high-volume periods
- Dependable, team-oriented work style
