About the role
Codale Electric Supply is a leading wholesale distributor in the Intermountain West, known for its involvement in various notable projects. Warehouse Associates play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.Responsibilities
- Order fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare outbound shipments according to each customer order, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Shipping coordination: Process shipping labels, documents, and prep products for transportation or pickups.
- Inspection: Check incoming goods for defects, damages, or discrepancies and report issues to the supervisor or purchasing department.
- Inventory Management: Update inventory systems with received items and ensure proper labeling and storage in designated locations.
- Documentation: Complete receiving logs, file necessary paperwork, and maintain accurate records for inventory tracking.
- Equipment Use: Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Collaboration: Assist with receiving, shipping, inventory, and quality control operations to ensure smooth workflow and accurate stock levels.
- Stock Organization: Organize and maintain the receiving area, ensuring it is clean and hazard-free.
- Returns: Process returned items or defective goods, coordinating with vendors or suppliers for replacements or credits.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using receiving software and systems.
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with inventory systems or ERP software is a plus.
- Certifications: Forklift certification is an advantage but not required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
