About the role
The Warehouse Associate supports daily warehouse operations for Service, Maintenance & Installation teams. This role receives, stores, stages, distributes, and tracks inventory; supports replenishment and cycle counts; prepares materials for field teams; and assists with deliveries and transfers. The Warehouse Associate helps keep the warehouse safe, organized, accurate, and responsive to operational needs.
Responsibilities
- Warehouse Operations
- Receive, inspect, and document inbound inventory accurately
- Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety standards
- Assist with deliveries between warehouses, supply houses, branches, and field teams
- Help maintain warehouse equipment and vehicles and report service needs
- Inventory Management & Distribution
- Receive, stock, pick, stage, and distribute inventory according to operational needs
- Prepare and distribute inventory for Service, Maintenance & Installation teams based on approved requests
- Complete inter-branch transfers and support timely inventory movement between locations
- Monitor stock levels and report low-stock or excess-inventory concerns
- Replenish vehicle inventory and verify quantities for accuracy and compliance
- Replenishment & Inventory Support
- Track product usage and report recurring demand changes or unusual patterns
- Support stock-level targets by keeping assigned inventory locations replenished
- Report inventory needs, including possible changes to reorder points, templates, or purchasing quantities
- Use inventory reports and system data to support accurate replenishment and daily decisions
- Inventory Control & Accuracy
- Perform cycle counts, audits, and scheduled physical inventories as assigned
- Research and report inventory discrepancies and assist with corrections
- Accurately record receipts, transfers, issues, returns, and other inventory movements
- Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work with supply chain, operations, branches, technicians, and warehouse leadership to support daily needs
- Support ordering, scheduling, special orders, and distribution as assigned
- Communicate inventory status, delivery updates, and warehouse needs promptly
- Team Support & Continuous Improvement
- Follow warehouse processes and suggest practical improvements when opportunities are identified
- Support warehouse leadership with daily operations and Supply Chain initiatives
- Contribute to team goals for efficiency, accuracy, safety, and service
Requirements
- 1+ year of warehouse, distribution, inventory, or related experience preferred
- Receiving, stocking, picking, staging, or delivery experience preferred
- Working knowledge of FIFO, cycle counts, replenishment, and basic inventory practices
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy
- Ability to follow processes, prioritize tasks, and respond to changing needs
- Strong written and verbal communication and ability to work across teams
- Organized, dependable, and able to solve routine warehouse issues
- Comfort using Service Titan and Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must be at least 21 years of age and have a minimum of three (3) years of driving experience to meet company insurance requirements
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain within 60 days
- Ability to work in an active warehouse environment and regularly lift 25–50 lbs
