Warehouse Associate - Part Time - Salvation Army San Francisco ARC

About The Role

The Salvation Army (TSA) Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC) is a no-fee program that assists men and women in their rehabilitation journey. This position is available at the San Francisco Distribution Center, which supports the Adult Rehabilitation Program.

Responsibilities

• Sorting product efficiently and properly according to TSA policy.
• Providing Quality Assurance by inspecting products for defects and damages.
• Identifying product correctly and directing to proper department for processing.
• Collecting merchandise from the distribution center and safely transporting materials.
• Performing other written or verbal duties as assigned by the Production Manager, Administrator, or their designated representative.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Demonstrated competency in the skill area, as evidenced by verifiable training and/or experience.
• Ability to read, write, and understand both written and verbal instructions.

Physical Demands

• Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
• Ability to grasp, push, and pull objects.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks.

Schedule

Work schedules are determined by Management and employees must be flexible to ensure adequate coverage. Full-time employees may be scheduled to work any full-time shift, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
