Warehouse Associate - Part Time

Responsibilities
- Unloads and breaks down freight (eg. trucks, trailers, rail cars, etc)
- Sorts and organizes freight
- Operates various types of material handling equipment
- Sorts, repacks, and labels freight
- Identifies unusable pallets
- Basic ability to read, count, and use RF Scanner technology (training provided)
- Removes items from sorting bins, scans, and places onto conveyor belt
- Removes items from packing bins, scans items using RF Scanner for accuracy, produces packing list, and bags items
- Operates warehouse machinery in accordance with customer standard operating procedures (eg. bailers, trash compactors, shrink wrappers, etc.)
- Maintains work area in a clean and hazard-free condition
Requirements
- 6 months warehouse experience (preferred but willing to train)
- Work in a physically demanding warehouse environment—continuously lifting and moving up to 50lbs
- Warehouse material handling equipment certification preferred (ie electric pallet jack)
- Meet fast-paced productivity goals and standards
- Excellent customer service required
- Overtime/Weekends may be required during peak/seasonal volumes
- Ability to work in various climate conditions (potentially including cooler/freezers)
- Reliable transportation with the ability to arrive on time
- Standing/climbing 8 to 10 hours per day
- Effective communication skills
- Safety shoes are required
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Other duties as assigned

Pay and Schedule
- Pay Range: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
- Pay Scale: Based on productivity
- Shift: Weekend Day Shift: Saturday to Monday, 6:00 AM start time - until complete
