Overview and Responsibilities

Support Healthcare from the Ground Up. Rotech Healthcare Inc. is seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Warehouse Technician to join our Transfill Division. This role involves hands-on work with specialized equipment and training.

  • Fills and prepares high-pressure oxygen tanks for delivery to healthcare locations.
  • Operates and maintains filling equipment to ensure safe and efficient performance.
  • Completes production and delivery documentation accurately and legibly.
  • Follows all safety protocols and participates in hazardous materials handling training.
  • Identifies and reports equipment hazards or safety concerns.
  • Maintains a clean and compliant work area in accordance with company, city, and state regulations.
  • Learns and develops technical knowledge of respiratory products and durable medical equipment (DME/HME).
  • Supports quality improvement initiatives and meets JCAHO standards.
  • Processes orders and maintains inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent, required.
  • One year or more of warehouse, manufacturing, or mechanical experience, preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license in state of residence with a clean driving record, when applicable.
  • Background check (company-wide).
  • Drug screen (when applicable for the position).
  • Compliance with healthcare facility credentialing process (when applicable for the position).

Skills & Abilities

  • Clear communication in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Positive attitude with a helpful and professional demeanor.
  • Comfortable interpreting instructions and working with various communication tools.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new equipment and processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
  • Capable of performing basic math calculations.
  • Organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift 25 lbs or more regularly.
  • Comfortable with standing, walking, sitting, talking, and listening throughout the day.
  • Able to load, unload, push, pull, and move equipment safely.
  • Requires close vision for reading labels, paperwork, and digital screens.

Work Environment

A warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures and climates. Fast-paced, hands-on work that supports healthcare delivery across the region.
