About the role
Warehouse associates are the foundation of our company’s success. They work actively, safely, and independently to maintain the efficient flow of products through our distribution process, ensuring quality standards. As a Warehouse Worker, you will support shipping and/or receiving functions, perform duties in a timely manner, maintain inventory and warehouse work areas, observe all safety regulations, and ensure the efficient flow of product. You will function as a team member within the department and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.
Responsibilities
- Perform general warehouse duties including forklift put-away, let-downs, will-call selection, returns, sanitation, breaking down pallets, wrapping pallets, order selection, loading, and receiving.
- Maintain general housekeeping and keep warehouse area, loading dock, and trailers clear and clean.
- Ensure work area is safe and report any unsafe conditions or acts immediately.
- Perform daily safety checks of assigned forklift/pallet jack in accordance with company policy.
- Conduct damage control checks on received items and contact supervisor about removing items according to company policy.
- Remove batteries requiring recharging, replace with charged batteries, and complete vehicle inspection checklist.
- Follow all preferred work methods, safety policies, and procedures per company guidelines.
- Review work schedule and daily production paperwork to prepare for operations.
- Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Gear.
- Meet required productivity and accuracy standards per location and company guidelines.
- Secure all equipment and complete necessary paperwork.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
- 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
- Able to work scheduled/assigned times and required overtime.
- Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
- Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to approximately 60-90 pounds, depending on location, throughout shift.
- Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, and dry).
- Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
