Warehouse Associate (Onsite) $20/hr

About the role

Beauty Industry Group (“BIG”) is seeking a full-time Warehouse Associate who will make a difference in our daily operations. The team member will work in a warehouse performing various activities in the operations environment, facilitating the timely receipt of goods from vendors, stocking and transporting to designated locations, fulfillment of orders, restocking, and cycle counting. The role requires collaboration with other departments and coworkers. BIG is a leading consumer beauty products company with an exciting and growing portfolio of beauty brands, including several recognized hair extension brands, and is the largest hair extension business in the U.S. and one of the largest globally. The position is located onsite at 1250 N Flyer Way, Salt Lake City, UT 84116.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments, verify accuracy against packing slips, and properly stock inventory in designated locations.
• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer and internal orders for shipment using proper procedures to ensure timely and correct delivery.
• Participate in regular cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accurate inventory records; help identify and report discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following 5S standards and promptly addressing any safety hazards or disorganization.
• Assist with packaging and labeling outbound shipments; prepare packages for courier pickup and ensure shipping documentation is complete.
• Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, carts, and barcode scanners safely and efficiently (training provided if needed).
• Work cooperatively with warehouse teammates and cross‑functional departments to meet daily and weekly fulfillment goals.
• Accurately complete all necessary paperwork and digital records related to inventory movement, receiving, and shipping; communicate effectively with team leads and supervisors on status or issues.
• Proactively suggest process improvements, assist in implementation of warehouse best practices, and contribute to a culture of accountability and growth.
• Perform physical warehouse duties including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and safely bending, crouching, and twisting as required.

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant warehouse, material handler, shipping/receiving experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to communicate in English using written and verbal skills.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. at a time.
• Conduct yourself with honesty & integrity.
• Basic understanding of simple math, written instructions, and the ability to complete forms and necessary paperwork.
• Cleanliness and organization.
• Ability to crouch, bend, twist in warehouse environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
