Warehouse Associate Nights Hiring Event Wednesday August 5th
This role is in support of Cencora's distribution services in the US operating through our AmerisourceBergen business.
About the role
Under direct supervision, handles and maintains the flow of materials and products in warehouses with varying degrees of automation according to established standards. Performs in accordance with established safety standards and adheres to all safety policies, rules, regulations and procedures. This position is categorized as compliance critical and, as such, requires and is assigned specific responsibility for ensuring continual and proper compliance with all division, corporate and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Verifies transportation, receipt, storage, and shipment information to support accurate movement of products and fleet-related assets.
- Updates warehouse and logistics systems with transaction details, status changes, and operational records to preserve data integrity.
- Tracks fleet activity, shipment progress, and inventory movement to support schedule adherence and timely issue identification.
- Prepares dispatch, shipping, receipt, and related documentation to enable accurate transaction processing.
- Reviews routine exceptions involving deliveries, returns, inventory discrepancies, or vehicle availability and routes unresolved issues.
- Confirms handling, storage, and movement requirements to support traceability, loss prevention, and fulfillment continuity.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), or equivalent certification preferred.
- Less than 2 years of experience in warehouse support, distribution operations, shipping, receiving, inventory control, material handling, or a related field required.
Skills
- Knowledge in warehouse operations processes, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, staging, and shipping.
- Knowledge in inventory control principles, stock movement tracking, and material traceability requirements.
- Knowledge in temperature-controlled handling and cold chain support requirements for sensitive products and materials.
- Knowledge in packaging materials, reusable shipping assets, and replenishment practices within warehouse operations.
- Knowledge in shipment documentation, operational recordkeeping, and transaction processing requirements.
- Knowledge in safe material handling practices and the use of warehouse equipment and tools.
- Ability to follow established warehouse procedures and standardized work instructions.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and update operational information in warehouse systems and logs.
- Ability to identify inventory, packaging, shipment, and material handling exceptions for further action.
- Ability to support timely and accurate order preparation and material movement activities.
- Ability to manage multiple routine tasks across warehouse workflows while maintaining accuracy.
- Ability to work with temperature-sensitive materials in line with defined handling requirements.
Schedule
- Four workdays per week scheduled between Sunday and Thursday, with one scheduled day off during that period.
- Sunday shifts begin at 3:30 PM, and Monday through Thursday shifts begin at 4:30 PM, with shifts ending upon completion of work.
Pay
- Pay starting at $19.50 with potential for up to $24.79 based on a variety of earning opportunities including shift differentials, performance incentives, and referral bonuses.
- Salary Range: $29,600 - $54,340 (National Average; actual range may vary based on locale).li>
