About the Role
Warehouse associates are the foundation of our company’s success. They work actively, safely, and independently to maintain the efficient flow of products through our distribution process while ensuring quality standards. As a Warehouse Worker, you will support shipping and/or receiving functions, perform general warehouse duties, and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform general warehouse duties such as forklift put-away, let-downs, will-call selection, returns, sanitation, breaking down pallets, wrapping pallets, order selection, loading, and receiving.
- Maintain warehouse area, loading dock, and trailers by performing general housekeeping duties and ensuring a safe work environment; report unsafe conditions immediately.
- Conduct daily safety checks of assigned forklift/pallet jack in accordance with company policy.
- Perform damage control checks on received items and notify supervisor about removing damaged items per company policy.
- Replace batteries requiring recharging and complete vehicle inspection checklists.
- Follow all preferred work methods, safety policies, and procedures per company guidelines.
- Review work schedules and daily production paperwork to prepare for operations.
- Wear all required Personal Proteive Equipment (PPE) and safety gear.
- Meet required productivity and accuracy standards per location and company guidelines.
- Secure all equipment and complete necessary paperwork.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
- 1+ year of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
- Ability to work scheduled/assigned times and required overtime.
- Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
- Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products from shelves, replenish products, and handle weights between 10-35 pounds, occasionally up to 60-90 pounds, depending on location.
- Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, and dry).
- Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
Pay
Starting pay: $15.00/hour - $20.00/hour (to be discussed further in an interview).
Schedule
Sunday - Thursday. Times will vary based on position.
