About the Role

Under direct supervision, this position is responsible for accurately performing the duties and responsibilities described. The employee may be tasked with operating company equipment and vehicles, adhering to Occupational Health and Safety regulations, federal and state transportation laws, and related company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Barcode and process new boxes
  • Pull access list
  • Refile boxes/files
  • Barcode and process boxes scheduled for destruction
  • Perform responsibilities related to bay consolidations
  • Demonstrate proficiency in operating a picker forklift or other company equipment
  • Conduct pre‑use safety checks on equipment (battery, brakes, lift controls, fire extinguisher)
  • Safely pull, load, and move boxes to assigned areas
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization
  • Make pickups and deliveries
  • Perform vehicle maintenance
  • Complete other duties as assigned
  • Return equipment to the correct charging station at the end of each day and prepare it for overnight charging

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record and background check
  • High school diploma (minimum)
  • Problem‑solving skills for process issues
  • Physical ability to perform labor‑intensive tasks, including continuous lifting of 40–50 lb boxes
  • Good eye‑hand coordination and motor skills
  • Ability to work well under time constraints and productivity requirements
  • Willingness to follow established procedures while offering creative improvement suggestions
  • Willingness to work at significant heights (12–14 ft)
  • Ability to use handheld computers, electric pickers, and operate vans and bob trucks
  • Flexibility to accept varying work hours and assignments
  • Willingness to work overtime
  • Strong customer‑service background
  • Detail‑oriented work style
  • Dependable, reliable, and mature enough to handle equipment safely and sensibly
