Warehouse Associate - Milwaukee

Location: Milwaukee, WI | Employment Type: Full‑Time | Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

About the role

AMS​OIL Inc. is seeking a reliable, organized, and motivated Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations. The role focuses on order fulfillment, safe material handling, inventory movement, and maintaining a clean, efficient warehouse environment. The associate will float between picking and packing, drum line and pail line, and may work in inclement weather while loading and unloading trucks.

Responsibilities

• Organize and store goods in designated warehouse locations.
• Fill materials into totes, drums, pails, and other containers following company guidelines.
• Pick, pack, and prepare items for shipment, ensuring accuracy and product protection.
• Retrieve items for processing or outbound shipments.
• Load and unload trailers as needed.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all safety rules and using proper PPE.
• Communicate effectively with the shipping and receiving team regarding order status and shipment readiness.
• Perform routine warehouse housekeeping to ensure an orderly work environment.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• Ability to learn forklift operation (training provided on the job).
• Ability to lift up to 70 lb repetitively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and follow written and verbal instructions, including safety rules and procedures.
• Full‑time availability during scheduled hours (Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.).

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior warehouse experience.
• Experience with RF scanners or handheld scanning devices.
• Customer service experience.

Compensation

Hourly rate: $23.29 per hour.
