Warehouse Associate - Material Handler-Box Truck Driver

This position requires a Class E driver's license.

About the Role

You will load parts and deliver them from the warehouse to the plant using a box truck. Responsibilities include picking parts and materials, delivering them to designated locations, unloading deliveries, and placing items in the appropriate areas. The role also involves operating a forklift, frequent in-and-out movement from trucks, and heavy lifting.

Tools and Equipment

• Hand and powered truck

• Protective equipment (e.g., safety glasses with side shields)

Responsibilities

• Pick parts from various locations and stage them for delivery based on daily requirements
• Transport materials to assigned areas
• Unload shipments of raw materials and finished goods
• Verify serial numbers and/or quantities, then place items in proper locations
• Process and update inventory control paperwork and computer reports
• Follow F.I.F.O. (First In, First Out) procedures
• Complete assigned or team duties in a timely manner
• Maintain a clean, safe, and hazard-free work area
• Perform other duties as assigned
