Key Responsibilities
- Accurately load company delivery trucks and trailers with customer orders, ensuring products are staged and secured according to company standards.
- Verify product counts against invoices, manifests, or pick tickets before loading.
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) safely and in compliance with company and OSHA standards.
- Inspect products for damage, accuracy, and quality before loading.
- Ensure loading areas remain organized, clean, and free of safety hazards.
- Assist with unloading incoming shipments and storing inventory as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols when handling heavy or hazardous materials.
- Collaborate with drivers, warehouse staff, and supervisors to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift, move, and stack products up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when verifying orders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior warehouse, loading, or material handling experience preferred.
- Familiarity with automotive aftermarket products.
- Experience with warehouse management systems or handheld scanners.
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Works environment with exposure to varying temperatures.
- Regular lifting, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
