Warehouse Associate/Lift Truck Operator - 2nd/3rd shift

Responsibilities

• Receiving a pull task with information on the flooring material to be pulled and retrieving the correct material with a lift truck.
• Transporting a pallet by fork lift to and from location.
• Transporting flooring material from trailers to storage location, and from storage location to the customer or Shaw trucks for shipping.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Responsible for reporting unsafe storage areas (leaning pallets, damaged walls, etc.) and unsafe working conditions to Supervisors.
• Read, write and comprehend shipping documents, bin locations, and store orders.
• Tape and repair any damaged packaging. Maintain clean and tidy workspaces.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 51lbs repetitively is a must.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to attend training on 1st Shift for the first two weeks of employment.
