Warehouse Associate Lead_Shift_2

Ensures shipment or receipt of goods to and/or from various locations. Leads with a sound knowledge of logistics and supply chain, materials management, and distribution/transportation processes and policies to meet business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Leads material handling and warehousing functions required in receiving, processing, storing, moving, and shipping parts, materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Leads work from a variety of source documents to verify quantities, parts, destinations, and timing.
• Leads the use of machines for weighing, banding, wrapping, and packaging.
• Leads the safe operation and servicing of mechanical, motorized, and/or electrical equipment in the facilities work environment.
• Leads specialized clerical and documentation duties.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• 1-3 years' relevant experience.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents.
• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Logistics experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stooping.
• Lifting, lowering, pushing, or pulling various items of varying weight.
• Work at heights up to 20 feet from the floor.
• Work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures.
