JOB SUMMARY

The Warehouse Team Lead is responsible for overseeing daily material handling and warehousing operations, including receiving, processing, storing, moving, and shipping of parts, materials, equipment, and supplies. This role provides leadership, ensures operational accuracy, and promotes safe and efficient work practices within the facility.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and support warehouse team members in all aspects of material handling operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Review and verify work using multiple source documents to ensure accuracy of quantities, parts, destinations, and delivery timelines.
• Oversee and demonstrate proper use of equipment such as weighing machines, banding tools, wrapping systems, and packaging equipment.
• Ensure safe operation, routine inspection, and basic servicing of mechanical, motorized, and electrical equipment used in the warehouse.
• Perform and supervise specialized clerical and documentation tasks, including inventory tracking, shipment records, and system updates.
• Support workflow coordination and ensure adherence to company processes, quality standards, and productivity targets.
• Train, mentor, and guide team members to improve performance and maintain operational efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with all safety regulations and promote a culture of safety in the workplace.
• Assist management with additional duties and special projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience:
  • Previous logistics or warehouse experience required; leadership experience in a lead or senior operator role preferred.
  • Experience with RF (Radio Frequency) scanners required.
  • Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) required.
  • Bilingual needed (English/Spanish)
  • Must be able to work 2nd shift hours.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and effectively.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Requires frequent walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stooping.
• Requires lifting/lowering, pushing, or pulling of various items of varying weight.
• Requires work from heights of up to 20 feet from floor.
• Requires work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures.
