Warehouse Associate - Joliet, IL
Position Summary
This position is responsible for verifying that correct orders are loaded and unloaded in our refrigerated warehouse. Candidates must be able to bend, pick up, lift, carry, and transfer 50 lbs. of boxed product safely.
Essential Functions
- Complete customer orders & prepare for trailers, ensuring accuracy each time.
- Load & unload trailers in a timely manner in accordance with the Labor Management System.
- Verify all in & outbound loads are the correct size/quantity/product.
- Follow structured shipping & receiving process.
- Load LTL orders according with delivery.
- Receive & put away products in an accurate & efficient manner while staying within compliance of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Dispose of waste materials and by-products.
- Communicate potential problems or issues with leads and/or supervisors.
- Follow all safety policies & procedures.
- Consistently at work and on time.
- Maintain clean, organized warehouse & work environment.
- Manual case picking, labeling, and cleaning as needs determine.
Other Duties as Assigned

SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; required
- Experience: 1 year forklift experience. Warehouse Management System experience; a plus
