Warehouse Associate - Internet Shipper

About the role

We are seeking a Warehouse Associate - Internet Shipper to join our growing team. This role is responsible for the entire shipping process of orders that have been picked and are ready to pack. You will ensure orders are properly fulfilled, customer expectations are met, and workplace safety is maintained.

Responsibilities

• Accurate packing and shipping of various sized products to meet customer expectations.
• Determine method of shipment utilizing software and create shipping labels using multiple ship software platforms.
• Maintain a clean work area and meet minimum daily shipping output expectations.
• Comply with all quality standards and policies, including assembling cardboard containers and properly filling them with void fill to protect products.
• Examine shipments to ensure they meet specifications.
• Assist in store/warehouse tasks such as stocking and parts pulling as assigned.
• Maintain and promote workplace safety, including securing and transferring cash or other assets.
• Uphold confidentiality standards.

Requirements

• Ability to read product identification quickly and accurately.
• Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from management.
• Exceptional verbal communication skills and professionalism.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet assigned deadlines.
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions accurately.
• Regularly lift, push, pull, and/or move objects weighing 10–50 lbs, and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
• Frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, and occasionally sit, climb (ladders/stairs), or balance.
• May be subject to environmental conditions, including protection from weather but not necessarily temperature changes.
• May be required to function in narrow aisles or passageways.
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Attention to detail, strong communication, and time management skills.
• Able to work well under pressure and collaborate with staff and supervisors.
• Open availability, flexibility, and ability to work various shifts and overtime as needed.
• 1–2 years of warehouse experience preferred; previous internet shipping experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with safety measures in a warehouse and experience with carrier shipping methods for small parcel packages.
• Basic computer skills and ability to arrive on time, ready to work in a fast-paced environment.

Pay

Hourly rate: $17.50

Schedule

2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
