Warehouse Associate II - Order Picker - 2nd Shift

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Pick orders according to bay locations, procuring correct quantity and type of component, according to production jobs.
• Utilize pick labels, pick sheets, and voice picking equipment as necessary to pick orders.
• Replenish inventory in bay locations manually or using appropriate material handling equipment.
• Operate equipment as assigned, which may include lift trucks, order pickers, SA`s, electric or manual pallet jacks, stretch wrap machines, hand-held RF terminals, and radios.
• Assist in physical inventory counts of components as required.
• Inspect cases of components / boxes to ensure that damaged or otherwise defective cases are not received / shipped.
• Report on problems to department supervision immediately.
• Meet established productivity standards.
• Complete department paperwork as required.
• Keep work area neat, clean, organized, and under control.
• Always observe safety rules and report unsafe conditions to department supervisor.
• Responsible for quality and safety of own work and compliance with all company procedures and policies.
• May require operating powered equipment including any or all the following: Forklift (Stand up / Sit-Down), Order picker, Tugger, Turret Truck, pallet jack, electric pallet jack. May require climbing ladder.
• Must be able to lift to 50 pounds.
• May require operating other equipment as assigned.

Qualification Requirements

• A High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Forklift Certification is required.

• The associate will be exposed to moving mechanical parts.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
