Our Warehouse Associate II position plays a crucial role in supporting daily warehouse logistics to operate at maximum efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Manage order pulling, ensuring accuracy based on item number, serial numbers, size, and quantity. Perform will calls, manage inventory, and perform cycle counts.
- Receiving and Unloading: Receive and inspect items received, log them into the warehouse management system, and handle non-conforming products as per company policies.
- Shipping: Label orders, prepare for shipping, and conduct final inspections. Handle hazardous materials according to OSHA and internal protocols.
- Quality Control: Promote operational excellence, perform quality assurance checks, and inspect products for defects and damages.
- Coaching & Mentoring: Conduct warehouse observations, provide feedback, and train employees in SOPs.
- Additional Assignments: Perform administrative tasks, manage warehouse equipment maintenance, and track inventory counts.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- At least 2 to 5 years of full-spectrum warehousing experience and/or training.
Skills
- Soft Skills: People and communication skills, self-motivation, teamwork, attention to detail, problem-solving, multitasking, cleaning and organizing, time management, mentoring.
- Hard Skills: Heavy equipment/machine operation, order fulfillment, receiving and unloading, packing, shipping, inventory control, records keeping, data analysis, warehousing system experience, MS Excel, MS Word, UPS and FedEx shipping web, intermediate knowledge of safety compliance, proper PPE use.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to operate standard warehouse equipment (forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, etc.), lift/pull/push up to 100 lbs., bend, reach, crouch, and adjust focus.
Physical Conditions
- Working in a warehouse mainly requires manual labor. Frequent standing, walking, and lifting are necessary.
