Warehouse Associate II - 1st Shift
Schedule
Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm
Pay
The expected rate of pay for this position is $21.00 - $22.50 hourly.
Primary Duties
- Check, inspect, audit, and log data into the appropriate inventory systems to reflect the quantity and condition of merchandise received or distributed.
- Prepare cartons for processing.
- Locate, prepare, and affix appropriate labels.
- Pack, scan, sort, and route cartons.
- Train and coach associates in basic procedures and techniques.
- Utilize various pieces of material handling equipment (MHE) including pallet movers, stand up forklifts, high lift reach trucks, and order picker.
- Utilize RF scanners to electronically perform warehouse activities.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- 1+ years of warehouse and/or maintenance experience.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to utilize, or learn to use, all necessary computer software and equipment.
Physical Demands
- Often standing, walking, bending, reaching, and stooping.
- Occasional sitting, talking/hearing.
- The use of hands/fingers are often needed.
- Continuous lifting and carrying of 1-20 lbs.
- Frequent lifting and carrying of 21-50 lbs.
- Occasional lifting and carrying of 51-100 lbs. with the assistance of a buddy-lift or a mechanical device.
Visual Requirements
- For Driving Equipment And Company Vehicles Include Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less).
- Distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more).
- Peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point).
- Depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships).
