Warehouse Associate I - Sunbelt Supply

About the role

Sunbelt Supply is a global provider of flow control solutions, maintaining one of the largest and most diversified selections of valves, actuators, actuation accessories and specialty PFF in North America, sourced from more than 50 major manufacturers. The company provides in‑house valve automation services, including CAD design, machining, fabrication, assembly, and repair work. Sunbelt Supply is a subsidiary of FloWorks International LLC, a privately held company headquartered in Houston, Texas. The Warehouse Associate verifies and records incoming and outgoing shipments, prepares items for shipment, and ensures quality and productivity standards are met. The role operates in a warehouse environment with occasional visits to other sites and typically requires less than 10% travel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating activities in the Shipping/Receiving Dock, including unloading and loading semi‑trucks, UPS and FedEx trucks
• Handling incoming and outgoing products and goods
• Packaging and preparing LTL shipments and associated documentation
• Routing material to staging or shipping areas
• Working on valve automation and assembly under the direction of the warehouse supervisor (mechanically inclined)
• Operating a forklift (certification a plus)
• Using Microsoft Office, Outlook, and additional software to track and communicate internally and with customers, carriers, and suppliers
• Maintaining a clean, organized work area (free of trash, products in correct location, etc.)
• Following company safety policies and procedures and encouraging peers to do the same
• Demonstrating attention to detail, strong organization, and ability to prioritize work

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• 0‑2 years of experience in a warehouse or related role
• Knowledge of typical warehouse equipment, machines, and tools
• Forklift operating experience
• Experience with material resource planning and/or production control using SAP
• Understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic control systems
• Valid driver’s license
