Responsibilities

• Load, unload, sort, pick, stock, stage, and transport materials throughout the warehouse and yard.
• Prepare items for shipment or customer pickup by securely packaging materials using shrink wrap, strapping, or other protective methods.
• Verify product accuracy and condition before staging or shipping.
• Install protective devices such as bracing or padding to prevent damage during transport.
• Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment to move goods safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety policies and procedures.
• Assist customers, installers, or subcontractors by fulfilling orders or locating materials.
• Drive company vehicles to pick up or deliver materials as needed.

Work Environment

• Typically located in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds in a physical environment.
• Ability to stand for periods exceeding 60 minutes and perform repetitive movements (e.g., bending, squatting, using a 10-key or calculator).
• Overnight travel required less than 10% of the time.

Requirements

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in warehouse operations, material handling, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Basic understanding of shipping, receiving, and material handling procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials.
• Willingness to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

Pay

For Ohio job seekers, the pay range is $17.75–$23.00 per hour. This range is based on market data and internal pay practices, with individual base pay determined by experience, skills, and internal equity.
