Warehouse Associate I Dulles VA 1st Shift

About the role

Mohawk is looking for a Warehouse Associate who can do more for all Emil America brands. This position will be responsible in performing various functions in support of warehouse operation, including shipping, loading and sampling of flooring products. This role requires multiple skills and extensive knowledge of warehouse functions and operation.

What You'll Do

Must be able to efficiently perform all of the following functions:

• Forklift certified and able to operate all types of lift truck equipment in assigned facility.
• Operate all banding and wrapping machines within assigned facility.

Plus at least 2 of the following functions:

• Perform cycle counts and other inventory control functions.
• Receive trucks, open and close truck doors.
• Handle and coordinate floor sample materials assigned to facility.
• May train others in warehouse functions.
• Any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• At minimum 6+ months experience working in a warehouse position.
• Ability to operate forklift equipment and pass the Mohawk Lift Truck certification test.
• Ability to operate banding and wrapping machines.
• Ability to sit, stand, reach, bend, and twist without restrictions.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Able to lift at minimum 80lbs throughout the shift.
• Able to climb on and off a Lift Truck numerous times throughout shift.
• Must be able to work day shift.
• Able to work in and around moving equipment and machinery.

Pay

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $32,000 and $48,000 per year at the commencement of employment. Compensation and range may vary by location. Final base pay is determined based on job-related factors such as work location, skills, experience, education, and training, consistent with applicable state and local laws. Base pay is one component of the total compensation package, which may also include incentive compensation, commissions (if applicable), discretionary bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and company-sponsored benefits.
