Warehouse Associate I - Day Shift

About the role

Reporting to the Distribution Area Manager, the Warehouse Associate is responsible for the timely and accurate picking, packing, over-labeling, kits building and shipping of all customer orders. In some areas, minor set-up and equipment operation may be required. This position is part of the Operations/Plant Management located in Romeoville, IL onsite.

What you'll do

• Pick items accurately to customer orders.
• Pack quality products according to standard work and regulation set by compliance department, ensuring quality product is safely delivered to customer.
• Pack hazardous and non-hazardous orders according to pick ticket instructions.
• Audit and inspect orders before staging and shipping. Investigate aged and missing orders.
• Comply with company safety policies & housekeeping policies including safe operation of equipment, PPE usage, etc.
• Accurately perform required computer data entry and work order transactions.

Requirements

• A minimum of a HS diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Prior distribution experience preferred.
• The ability to work with manual and/or power equipment.
• Proficient in using computers for data entry utilizing Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English is required. Bilingual language skills are a plus.

Pay

The compensation range for this role is $22.50 - $22.50 USD per hour. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
