Warehouse Associate I

About the Role

Rexel USA, a leading distributor of electrical products and related supplies, is seeking a Warehouse Associate I to join the Platt team in East Spokane Valley, WA. This role is responsible for efficiently and accurately filling customer orders, receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping materials while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a culture focused on employee safety and a safe work environment
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures and Environmental Health and Safety Rules
• Receive and verify incoming materials against packing lists
• Stock shelves and maintain an orderly warehouse
• Prepare and process branch orders, ensuring accuracy in shipping
• Operate machinery such as forklifts, reach trucks, and wire cutting machines
• Load common carrier and company vehicles
• Perform minor equipment maintenance and inventory counts
• Support counter sales and customer service as needed

Qualifications

• No experience required; prior warehouse experience a plus
• Certification to operate warehouse equipment preferred
• High School diploma or GED preferred
• General knowledge of electrical products a plus
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Basic computer knowledge

Physical Demands

• Occasionally sit (up to 20%)
• Constantly walk, use hands, stoop, kneel, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds (at least 51%)
• Work in a noisy, temperature-varying environment with exposure to electrical hazards

Pay

For the state of Washington, the pay range is $19.00 to $21.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
