Warehouse Associate I - 1st Shift
Under close supervision, expedites the flow of work orders through the manufacturing process according to production and shipping schedules, and informs the status of orders and any situations affecting the production schedule.
Responsibilities
- Receiving and stocking all raw materials
- Moving raw materials throughout the manufacturing process as needed to maintain production schedules
- Review production schedule, schedule change notices, and reports or records of the status of work orders to identify any production delays
- Follow up on special requests or work orders from production supervisors to support departments to ensure communications of such requests, and to identify anticipated or actual delays in the delivery of resources or support services to production department
- Perform physical counts of products/components in the manufacturing process or in storage as needed to assist in inventory audits
- Use forklift, flat bed truck, and/or other transportation means for moving material within and outside of the facility
- Pull work orders, dormant inventory, and pack finished goods per S-71117
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ years of experience in a shipping and receiving role, preferably in an aerospace or manufacturing environment
- Basic computer and math skills
- Understand use of forklift and order picker
- Knowledge of scale counting
- Experience in packing and shipping
- Knowledge of QAD and Oracle
- Class C Driver’s License
- Legally authorized to work in the United States; verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire (visa sponsorship is not available for this position)
- This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee)
Pay
$19.00 - $20.00 per hour
