Warehouse Associate - Housekeeping (MON-FRI)

About The Role

The Housekeeper will clean, sanitize, and maintain the warehouse building. The Housekeeper and all S&S Activewear employees must adhere to the guidelines presented in the S&S Activewear Employee Handbook.

What You Will Do

  • Performs general cleaning and sanitizing tasks and services throughout assigned property
  • Uses cleaning cart to transport cleaning supplies
  • Cleans and disinfects bathrooms
  • Cleans and disinfects kitchen area
  • Washes dishes, utensils, glasses, pots, and pans
  • Wipes and dusts surfaces in room and cleans mirrors
  • Vacuums and cleans floors, rugs, furniture, and drapes
  • Stocks supplies in bathrooms
  • Picks up and empties trash containers
  • Notifies management if something is not working properly
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to read and speak English
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment and machinery
  • Must be comfortable using electronic devices
  • Can lift and carry up to 50lbs on occasion with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Basic math skills, ability to count, add, and subtract numbers quickly and accurately
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency in completing work assignments with a proactive approach to all responsibilities
  • Must be flexible with start and departure time changing
  • Ability to work overtime when needed
  • Ability to work independently without close supervision
  • Responsible for any additional duties assigned
  • Ability to be flexible, reliable, and willing to work in a team environment
  • Ability to multi-task and function successfully in a fast-paced work environment requiring physical demands
  • Comprehend English language with the ability to communicate through reading, speaking, and writing
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Compensation & Schedule

$18.54 Hourly, Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Monday - Friday (1PM-9:30PM)

Physical Demands

In performing this job, the employee must stand, walk and sit for an 8+ hour shift. Additionally, the position requires frequent grasping, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and handling of items with hands and arms, up to 50 lbs. Moderate hand-eye coordination, near vision, far vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, adjusting focus and hearing.

Working Environment

The job will be performed entirely in the warehouse where conditions can range from warm to cool. The job will be performed around warehouse machines and equipment with a moderate level of noise. Employee must be able to work in a high-volume, high-demand environment while meeting strenuous customer deadlines. Employee must be able to change priorities or job duties as needed and interact with employees at all levels.
