Warehouse Associate - Hose Assembler

About the role

The Warehouse Associate works in a fast-paced environment, handling various tasks to support the company's operations. This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, forklift operation ability, and basic familiarity with industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Processes customer and shop credits
• Performs housekeeping tasks to maintain cleanliness and safety
• Checks orders for accuracy
• Works cooperatively with team members
• Completes safety protocols
• Schedules pick-ups
• Interfaces with internal and external customers
• Pulls and packs parts according to orders
• Secures and ships parts
• Verifies and receives shipments
• Inventories parts
• Fills emergency back orders
• Moves parts and materials with a forklift
• Assists in assembling hoses
• Conducts core inspections as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Basic familiarity with light industrial equipment
• Experience in assembling hoses and couplings
• Utilizes hose measurements for assembly
• Familiarity with power tools

Qualifications

• Motor vehicle license
• Bilingual preference

Skills

• Standing, walking, talking, using hands, hearing, squatting/kneeling
• Ability to ascend/descend ladders, stairs, etc.
• Heavy work involving lifting and moving objects up to 94 pounds
• Multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
• Operating a motor vehicle
• Navigating through menus and options on a computer

Pay

The pay rate for this position is $21.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on education and experience.

Schedule

The shift is from 7am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.
