About the role

As a Warehouse Associate at Dal-Tile, you will play a crucial part in supporting our operations. You will be responsible for a variety of material handling duties, including receiving, loading/unloading material, pulling/assembling customer orders, and performing inventory checks.

Responsibilities

• Performing a variety of warehouse duties such as pulling/assembling customer orders, checking outbound orders for accuracy/completeness, inventory stock checks, restocking and labeling vendor product, maintaining displays (tools, caulk, etc.), moving, storing, and replenishing material, and conducting daily cycle counts.
• Performing receiving duties such as receiving and unloading inbound material, processing inbound shipments, stocking material, processing customer returns, and notifying management of damaged shipments for freight claims.
• Operating forklift equipment.
• Maintaining a clean and organized facility by sweeping, removing trash, performing restroom and general office maintenance, etc.
• May wait on customers and prepare sales slips.
• Maintain a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules as outlined in the Safety Program and by reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions, and acts to Management.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Certified Forklift Operator.

Skills

• Ability to lift up to 15-30 lbs.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. in certain situations.
