About the role

As a Warehouse Associate at Dal-Tile, you will play a crucial part in supporting our operations by performing a variety of material handling duties. This includes pulling and assembling customer orders, checking outbound orders for accuracy and completeness, inventory stock checks, restocking and labeling vendor products, moving, storing, and replenishing materials, and conducting daily cycle counts.

Responsibilities

• Performing receiving duties such as receiving and unloading inbound material, processing inbound shipments, stocking material, processing customer returns, and notifying management of damaged shipments for freight claims.
• Operating forklift equipment.
• Maintaining a clean and organized facility by sweeping, removing trash, performing restroom and general office maintenance, etc.
• May wait on customers and prepare sales slips.
• Maintaining a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules as outlined in the Safety Program and by reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions, and acts to Management.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent experience
• Certified Forklift Operator
• 3+ years of previous warehouse experience preferred

Skills

• Ability to lift up to 15-30 lbs., and at certain times, up to 70 lbs.
