Warehouse Associate -Equipment Operator

Responsibilities

• Uses power industrial equipment to load and unload, move or stack materials or products;
• Operates manual or electric carts in order to fill orders;
• From the receiving area, scan and count items and load on cart;
• Stock items appropriately by location and quantity;
• Receive merchandise from vendors and other stores and put them in the proper location on the shelves;
• Check off merchandise as received;
• Correct mistakes found on the inventory count sheet;
• Assist in pulling parts during busy times;
• Work with stock manager to address any problems with orders;
• Miscellaneous projects and perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience operating power industrial equipment;
• Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal;
• Understanding Map Locations;
• Sorting by alpha or numeric;
• Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements;
• Focus and remain on task in a fast-paced environment;
• Attention to detail;
• Great communication skills;
• Able to lift, push, pull and/or move objects 10-50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh up to 100 lbs;
• Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach;
• Occasionally required to sit and climb (ladders and/ or stairs) or balance;
• May be subject to environmental conditions.
