Warehouse Associate / Equipment Operator

About the role

This position will operate power equipment such as stock pickers, reach trucks, and turret trucks for the replenishment and case pick areas. May also operate pallet riders and manual pallet jacks.

Responsibilities

• Complete all pre-shift inspection checklists on all power equipment before use.
• Meet daily performance and accuracy goals.
• Use RF technology and appropriate inventory management practices.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe working environment.
• Work collaboratively with other employees and departments toward common goals and objectives.
• Rotate throwing cases onto the bypass conveyor.
• Provide support during Physical Inventories of Warehouse.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous experience driving power equipment.
• Work experience in a distribution center.
• Analytical and counting skills.
• Reading, writing, mathematical and English language skills usually attained through a High School or equivalent education.
• Computer knowledge and experience operating RF scanners.
• Flexibility to work required overtime.
• Able to frequently lift and carry up to 40 pounds, regularly throughout the day.
• Able to wear a body harness and other fall protection PPE and meet the required weight classifications for fall protection.

The hourly rate for this position may vary based on geographic location. Pay is based on several factors including knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base pay, we may offer additional forms of compensation as part of a total compensation package, including a full range of benefits.
