Warehouse Associate earn up to $20 per hour Tuesday-Saturday 12pm-8pm Shift

About the role

I.K. Hofmann USA has an immediate long-term contract opportunity for an ambitious and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate at a cargo facility in Atlanta, GA. This position performs fast-paced warehouse cargo work under supervision and supports the safe movement, preparation, and handling of freight.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload cargo on aircraft and trucks.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as assigned.
• Build and tie down pallets.
• Connect and operate ground support equipment as assigned.
• Perform warehouse duties based on operational needs.
• Communicate effectively with teammates and warehouse personnel.
• Follow all site, safety, security, and cargo-handling procedures.

Requirements

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
• Frequently moves and transports cargo weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Occasionally moves about inside the warehouse and office to access cargo shipments and airwaybills.
• Must be able to position self to operate warehouse equipment and secure cargo safely.
• Must be able to communicate with teammates and warehouse personnel and exchange accurate information.

Qualifications

• GED or high school education desired.
• Previous warehouse or cargo-handling experience preferred.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and safe work practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Pay

Starting Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour.

Schedule

12:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Must be flexible to work different shifts as operational needs change. Overtime may be available based on business needs.
