Warehouse Associate - Downtown Location

About the role

Join Plumbers Supply Co, a longstanding family-owned business with over 103 years of service, as a warehouse associate at our branch on Market Street in Downtown Louisville.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and prepare orders using an RF Scanner
• Read customer orders and retrieve items from warehouse racks using barcodes and serial numbers
• Update inventory in ERP system after each item is picked
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment for all stakeholders
• Operate heavy equipment including hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience
• Customer service focus with strong communication skills
• Dependable attendance and reliability
• Ability to multitask and pay attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
• Motivated to learn and grow within the role
• Stamina to stand and walk throughout the shift
• Computer proficiency
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally more with or without accommodation
• Physical ability to perform various warehouse tasks including bending, stooping, kneeling, etc.
